Dr. Chulsung Bae of UNLV “Fuel Cells - The Future is Closer than Ever” February 15, 2012

UNLV Professor Dr. Chulsung Bae will speak on "The Future with Fuel Cells" on February 15th, Wednesday, Check-in at 11:30; (RSVP Here) Lunch & Program at 12 Noon at McCormick & Schmicks. $30.

As an assistant professor of chemistry at UNLV, he won a CAREER Award from the National Science Foundation. His research group focuses on developing polyelectrolyte membranes for fuel cell applications and other research.

    * Alkaline Fuel Cells
    * Phosphoric Acid Fuel Cells
    * Molten Carbonate Fuel Cells
    * Solid Oxide Fuel Cells

Solid Oxide Fuel Cells are being used to provide power to office buildings, completely off of the grid with low emissions.
